New for model year 2025 is the Fox GRIP X2 Damper. Built off of the foundation of the wildly successful GRIP2 damper, the GRIP X2 is built for utmost performance and adjustability. The GRIP2 damper had a 20mm base valve and 7 shims, while the GRIP X2 has an oversized 24mm base valve and 23 shims. This results in more sensitivity and a wider range of adjustability within the clicks. The increased range of adjustability also means that the GRIP X2 is easier to tune than the GRIP2 since each individual click makes a more noticeable difference in feel.
This upgrade kit will fit any 2020+ and newer Fox 40.
- This upgrade kit includes (1) Fox GRIP X2 damper for Fox 40 forks.
- This upgrade allows you to independently adjust the High & Low Speed Compression plus High & Low Speed Rebound.
- Variable Valve Control (VVC) on the rebound circuit.
- Pair up your GRIP X2 fork damper with a DHX2 or Float X2 rear shock to maintain similar suspension performance and adjustability front and rear.
*NOTE-Fox 4wt Suspension Oil is required for the GRIP X2 damper.
